Who We Are

Capital Medical Resources LLC was established in 2011 and specializes in the sales, leasing, financing, and distribution of medical devices for hospitals and surgery centers, and the biomedical and surgical equipment management companies that support them. Our focus is on products utilized in Biomed, SPD, critical care, endoscopy, surgery, and other patient care settings. We partner with a wide range of medical device manufacturers and ISO’s to offer the best selection of new and pre-owned products and services to meet the varying demands of our clients, without compromising the brand-preferred needs of the end-users.

Lee Ann Purtell - Owner

Owner and principal, Lee Ann Purtell spent 20 years in the medical device industry as a Product Manager and Director of Business Development prior to launching the woman-owned enterprise, Capital Medical Resources LLC in 2011. In her two decades in the medical industry she gained valuable expertise and product knowledge focused primarily in the area of general and endoscopic surgical equipment. In addition to her leadership role in product development and technical management, Lee Ann worked directly with end-users providing specialized training, equipment evaluation and assessments. As Director of Business Development, she worked with many national and regional IDN’s and GPO’s negotiating and implementing service agreements for large hospital systems and purchasing organizations.

Robert Purtell - Director

Rob joined Capital Medical Resources in 2018, with a background in healthcare spanning more than 25 years. A graduate of Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, with a BS in Healthcare Management, Rob has been a sales and service leader in the medical device market, for both OEM’s and Independent Service Organizations. From his early days as a Sterile Processing and Endoscopy Technician, through his many years as a medical device Sr Manager, he exhibits a broad range of knowledge across the healthcare spectrum. He’s a passionate customer advocate, who understands the needs and challenges of the healthcare professionals he supports.
